Decent case for the money. Plastic is rather thin ...
Perk Chirp•April 30, 2017
For the money, it's a fair case. Plastic is rather thin and flexible, such that locking one side won't be sufficient to secure the contents-- gotta lock both sides. The arrow holders are attached using friction washers that are pushed onto plastic posts using a cheap plastic tool whose handle broke off before I could finish the job. OK for carrying bow and tackle back and forth between home and range but I wouldn't use it for airline travel. For that I will invest in an SKB instead.
BIG and Solid
M & A•February 26, 2017
Solid built case, typical of Plano. There is good padding and three straps that hold the bow in place, two for limbs and one around the string and cable. You do, however need to attach the arrow holders with the provided screws, if you want them.
This case is bigger than I expected and a little tough for our 16 year old daughter to drag around. There isn't any place she can stash it when not in use.
There are two rings, one on each end between the four clasps that will allow you to put small padlocks on the case. Mindy you, I'm talking about luggage size locks. If you are inventive like my daughter, she devised a clip and strap system so that she could carry it over her shoulder instead of dragging it behid her.

Great case at an awesome price!

Brought this case out bowhunting this year and it held up just find. Keeps the bow in place without moving, holds all my arrows, and has plenty of room for other accessories to fit in. My stabilizer doesn't fit while on the bow, so I have to remove it which is not a big deal. I have a 9'' trophy ridge on my PSE bow. Definitely a great case at a super reasonable price!
well made-fits Genesis bows
D. LaRu•November 11, 2016
Fits the Genesis bow perfectly, the price is better than Dicks in town. I looked at what they had and decided to get the hard case bc I don't know what kind of a beating the bow will take once we start really getting into the archery but I know it will be safe in this case. Has room for 6 arrows and has a place secure a lock for the innards-actually the whole case would need to be taken if there was a creepy person around who coveted the bow-but with the lock, no one could tamper with your settings or steal an arrow. There is very little room to put other items without them shifting around other than under the foam below the bow.
Can't find a better case for this price.

I was looking for a budget case that would get the job done and I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. The case material could be a bit thicker, but obviously that would add to the weight and the cost. As it is, the case looks good, is lite, but sturdy enough to protect the bow. The Velcro straps are a nice addition and hold the bow very securely. The foam is only an inch thick, but again, I think this is adequate protection. My only complaint is the handle doesn't match up perfectly when the case is closed and is a bit uncomfortable. However, with the price and the other features, I don't consider this enough of an issue to knock down the rating I am giving. The four latches are very solid, close tightly and the case is more compact than others I have used...which is a plus in my book. This require some assembly, but it was easy, did not need any additional tools and was done in approx. 10 minutes. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. The Plano Protector Compact Bow Case is exactly what I was looking for and the price is unbeatable. If you found this review helpful, please click the "Yes" button below.
