When my last mechanic's stool broke, I bought both this stool, and the adjustable height stool. I'm glad I bought both - my wife saw this, and grabbed it for the kitchen so she could sort out the lower portion of the cabinets, then she found that she could use it when she pinned a quilt (she hangs the quilts vertically for pinning) - the lower edges had required her to sit on the floor. She loves it!

Mr. Fussy loves detailing his car, and that requires a lot of bending and twisting. All of THAT results in a very lovely-looking car and a very achy Mr. Fussy. Got him this and he loves it! Doing the tires and the lower-slung portions of the auto are a piece of cake now. The tray is handy for storing stuff as you roll around and even has a magnetic section for corralling those little parts that tend to get lost in the driveway. Very sturdy, very balanced and made 100% in the USA.

This stool is really sturdy and moves around really easily. It was very easy to assemble. My only issue is that the seat slants forwards and downwards making it feel as if it will tip forward, although it doesn't - was it not for this, I would give this product five stars. The important thing though, is that it serves the purpose I bought it for.
