Design is a little more pry resistant than big box store alternatives. But lock tab is like all others. Volume is same width, but less tall and deeper than my old box.
I like that the fancy, thick key works smoothly! The lock itself seems more robust than the other locking mailbox offerings. I had to drill out my old mailbox lock after it froze and bent.
Wide flat stock items that barely fit into the box are difficult to remove because the opening for mail retrieval, while taller, is less wide than the postman door.

Rock Solid Mailbox - Easy to install

The Mail Boss 7106 is a rock solid mailbox that I installed on a Mail Boss post. Installation is quite easy and I first installed the post by digging a hole 12 inches deep and used a 60 pound bag of fast drying concrete to fill the hole up with the post in place. The fast setting concrete typically sets within 30 minutes and I used a post level to ensure that it is straight as it sets and then installed the plate the mail box the next day. The installation process is very easy and the Mail Boss 7106 has a capacity for about two weeks of mail which is very useful if you travel often.

This is a great mailbox. It has prevented theft and damage. Very easy for mail carrier to place mail inside and will not dent with a baseball bat. It will hold quite a bit of mail inside. If you happen to be on vacation and as it's locked, you can fill secured that nobody's getting your mail. There's a nice little slot for outgoing mail if you wish your carrier to take a letter. I would definitely recommend this mailbox and if you need the post also, I hear they hold up to cars running into him.
