I've used it last night for the first time since I've purchased it. It was the easiest noodles-cooking ever, for the first time, to make pho for two. The only reason why I gave a four stars was because of the piece that was supposed to be resting on the pot while cooking, was just a bit too sharp, both to touch, as well as concerns that it may scratch the nonstick interior of my pot. Otherwise, the price is perfect.

Works as expected, and it's a nice size to fish things out of smaller pots. Not just asian things, but things like small batches of french fries, when you don't want a bigger pot and use a lot of oil. Very efficient. PS: Helen Chen is the daughter of famous Chinese chef Joyce Chen.

this doesn't work for my steel fry pot, which is 8 inches tall, and 7 inches wide. and you can't bend thhe handle to make it work. BUT, i give it 3 stars for wok cooking only, as the angle is perfect for that. BUT, only 3 stars, because the wires are awkward for fast cleaning.

This product works great for me and I love the fact that it's dishwasher safe. No matter how you scrub this style of spider strainer you can never quite get that little bit of oil out from between the wires. This usually makes it so the next time you fry the oil builds up on that spot again and again. Now that I can throw this in the dishwasher the high heat and water jets take care of that for me. I still give it a once over with a brush to get out the bigger chunks of things but the fine cleaning is done in my dishwasher. bought this a while ago and still love it. Great product.

High quality construction and has a great feel in my hands, it is bigger than expected so take a moment to measure your pots to see if this will work with them. I would have gotten the smaller size if I had done that since I can only use this with one of my pots now (my fault). the long handle is especially useful and makes the product a little safer if you are using it to collect food from fry oil, the extra length can really help cut down on burns from "oil popping".
I recommend this product, and won't buy it again (because I fully expect it to last a lifetime).
