Believe the positive reviews. It's solidly built and has a smooth action. Despite being sturdy, it is not over-sized sized and has a reasonable weight. It's the best caulking gun I've ever used.

Very good. Easy to use, doesn't jam (so far), easy to back the plunger out. Much sturdier than the 4 dollar cheapies. I'm deducting one star because it is slightly difficult to remove the caulk tube afterwards; the lip at the nozzle end gets caught in the edge of the gun, and takes a little maneuvering to get out.
Not all caulk guns are created equal!
