Nice flexible short- run 1/4" hose!
Timothy R.✓ Verified Purchase•August 6, 2023
This seems a great choice at a reasonable price to do your compressor to say a Brad Nailer or such. Just as unobtrusive as pneumatic hose gets, you know. This 25 footer seems ideal for the lighter (smaller diameter) hose. It is nicely made with good quality fittings. Keep in mind you will be adding female fittings to it, it comes 'bare' male. It was on Prime, was as represented and came on time. So I'm happy!
It's Tygon Tubing
Pat✓ Verified Purchase•August 3, 2023
It's Tygon tubing, so it's not durable like the heavy-duty reinforced PVC workshop air hoses. Be sure to keep it clear of any hot spot and it will last you for ages. It's a little rigid in the cold but nearly as flexible as the heavy-duty workshop air hoses. It is way way better than the cheap polyurethane hoses that never last long for a variety of durability reasons.
Overall, it's a good bang for the buck and exactly what I expected from the pictures and my laboratory experiences with Tygon tubing.

Very good quality

Very well constructed, lightweight, easy to maneuver.
A nice hose for the price. The swivel fittings are pros and cons.

This is a very nice hose for the price. Very light weight and modest memory (it's not bad about coiling up while in use). The swivel fittings are nice, but they only rotate (the angle is fixed, not variable like most swivel fittings.) Also, the bore (I.D.) of these fittings is a little more constricted than the non-swivel fittings on my other 1/4" hose. Lastly, the fittings are crimped on and are not reusable / repairable. I didn't rate durability since I haven't had the hose long enough to make that determination. Even so, I'm really pleased given what I paid for the hose.
Light weight for sure but a little stiff

I got this hose because I wanted light weight and manuverability. Light weight ?...very but slightly stiff . Strain relief collar has come loose after very slight use and slid down the hose where it is doing no good and sometimes getting caught on things . Brass fittings seem fine so far . The fittings are not top of the line but decent . I have found over my 45 + years in the trades that these type of hoses do tend to get leaks due to abrasion more than heavier rubber hoses . There are some nice premium hoses on the market that are fairly light and flexible but they are very expensive . The heavy rubber hoses are durable but hard to handle .After i got this hose and was trimming windows on a ladder I decided to buy a Ryobi 18 volt 15 gauge angle finish nail gun . This hose definitely helped but it is still prone to getting wrapped around the ladder and an extra weight to drag around and lift when I am getting in position to shoot a nail . The battery gun is heavier on its own than the pneumatic gun , but all things considered maybe a better choice for most trim work . but if you are going pneumatic this is a pretty good hose choice .
