Good sheath for old Ka-Bar combat knives.

If you have an old Ka-Bar knife like I did and need a sheath, this is a good one. I have a genuine WWII Ka-Bar and needed a sheath. This solved the problem. The vinyl button strap does need to be pulled quite hard to get it to snap shut around the handle but It does fit.

I bought this sheath for a knife that my friend gave me. The leather sheaths that the USMC knives come with are very pretty but I figured this one would be a little more utilitarian since it would stand up to the elements a little better. Looks good, feels good and works well.

Close, if not the best, for carrying your coveted K-Bar Knife. Has a retention tab near the hilt. Kinda wish where the canvas portion was a bit stiffer, but it was at such a great price that it was negligable for the purchase.

Note that though the snap that wraps around the handle is just a little too short, this sheath holds the Schrade SCHF1 perfectly (even upside down) in this Ka-Bar sheath just through friction.

Fits any marine style knife even the original WW2. I have spec-plus marine combat knife from the late 90"s It fits perfectly. Great up great from the original Seth. it will modernize your knife. no need to by a new one if you love your marine knife. Stick with it.
