Spend more on a better tool.

Good price however as a tool for hearing this is not very useful. Hard to hear heart and lung sounds even with direct skin contact. I'd recommend spending more and getting a more sensitive steth.
Hope you have a tiny head...

Great for the cost! I bought this simple stethoscope to monitor my service dog's heartbeat. He's got bradycardia (slow heartbeat) and a heart murmur and I've had to be vigilant about checking him out throughout the day. Sometimes his heart beat gets so slow it's worrisome. If you're looking to use this for simple jobs, then you don't need a $500-1000 stethoscope. I think it's great, too, for parents, daycare workers, pet owners. Just remember to use the stethoscope in a quiet setting or press the ear pieces closer in. What's nice is that because I have my Prime membership, I got it in 2 days. That was a relief because my dog had been having problems that weekend prior.

I brought the product for my 2.5 year old son. He likes playing with the stethoscope at his doctor visits, so I purchased one for him. He loves it and for the price it gets the job done.

For blood pressure and pulmonary auscultation, this will do the tricks. This won't be a winner for most anything else. Not for general medicine, cardiology, etc. I just use these in my office for blood pressure readings.
