First time making paella for a crowd. Christmas party for 30 people. I did a test run in a big frying pan, with mediocre resulte, so I wanted a big paella pan that i could use indoors on my stove top. We have a standard modern gas stove with 5 burners (two on each side and one in the middle). I got the 24" pan and hoped it wasn't a mistake. Pan was everything I had hoped for. First, it makes a statement - just sitting on empty on the stove during cocktails and apps led to tons of comments and anticipation. Second, it's made great - well built and heavy, but still easy to handle. Third, it fit perfectly on my stovetop - I used the two right burners and the center burner and it cooked beautifully. Finally it left enough room on the left side of the stovetop for two big pots. Making the paella became a group participation singing, dancing and cooking event right in the middle of the kitchen!

This pan was perfect! I prepared the pan as directed. This was my first time making paella. Luckily my brother-in-law was experienced, so he did most of the heavy lifting. We used a big firepit, over charcoal. It was a little bit difficult to add the coals thru the grate. Next time I will use the round open tripod in the firepit, which will allow a bit more control. We had a beautiful soccorat, the crust that develops under the rice. We had 20 people at the party and everyone loved it!

Nice but when I wash it, it become rusty. Thought it is dishwasher safe.

I wanted an awesome size pan to showcase my awesome paella and that it did! My guests gathered around the grill and seemed amazed at the size of the pan and the variety of ingredients. Most of my guests had never had paella prior to this. I bought the pan from Amazon because I trusted the company and coincidentally the pan was on sale and came with free shipping! Would you believe, the pan arrived at 11:15 in the morning (when I expected it) and my party started at 3:00 p.m.! Thanks, Amazon!

I really Love this Pan .Real heavy duty. It was a joy to clean, if you did it right away. Even heating all across the pan on a charcoal grill. Every thing turned out perfect. With this 24 inch pan we could feed over 20 people. Love it...
