Strong, simple, cheap.

Joints need to be worked to loosen up, base plate is too wide to utilize more than 2 holes into wall stud unless you get creative. Other than that it is sturdy and enough slop in the TV mounting holes to account for slight sag at full extension. I would recommend this for small TV's and computer monitors less than 20lbs or so. A great buy for the price really.

Upon opening the package the mount looked great. Beefy, seemed nicely made, way better than I expected for $20.00. However, once I got it mounted with a light Samsung 24" TV it turns out the swivel joints just don't work well. Out of the box they're very stiff. Once you loosen them up they will swivel, but not without a fight, and then it causes the TV to sit at an angle. Just not worth it.. This thing is going back. I'll bite the bullet and spring for the Mor Ryde. They're pricy, but they work.
Mounted this next to my bed and love it!

I got tired of cheap laptop computers not doing half of what my desktop did so mounted this next to my bed as my side of the bed is against the wall in the corner.. I have it to the right of me and the desktop computer at the foot of the bed on a small file cabinet. I run my keyboard and mouse to where I sit and watch tv and swivel the monitor out and away I go! I love it!!!
Installation was very easy- i've never even set anything like this up! Just make sure to use a stud finder and mount it to an actual stud! Drywall isn't meant to hold any amount of weight!

I got this VideoSecu Long Articulating LCD LED TV Monitor Flat Panel TV Wall Mount, 20 inch Extension 55 lb loading capacity VESA 75mm/100 mm 1US in the mail today. Installed it in approximately 5(Five) minutes. I had previously done all the measurements and location preparation. I have tried several other mounts of varying types and manufacturers for other mounting situations, including one that broke less than one minute after installation, and I believe I can honestly say this is the absolute best mount you can buy for this type installation.
It is more than strong enough to hold up my Lenovo Think Center all in one computer(about 22 pounds). The description says it will hold up 55 pounds, and I suspect it will have very little trouble living up to that claim. The success you have will depend entirely on how well you prepare your mounting location, and your measurements and leveling abilities.

This is a very robust, solid mount for my 23" monitor, and a good value...

This is a very robust, solid mount for my 23" computer monitor, freeing up 16" of much-needed desktop space under the monitor where the base used to be. I like the good value, and the fact that it has a longer reach than most wall mounts. The short tools provided don't give you enough leverage for adjustment (some of the bolts arrive very tight), but who doesn't have a wrench set around? I drove 4 lag-screws into a double-stud 15" laterally from the center of my monitor (very cantilevered, so to speak, which I why I wanted the longer reach), and it's very solid. I doubt that dry wall by itself would have enough strength? The hardware pack is very complete for every kind of installation. The two decorative wall cover pieces snap on easily and look good.
The tilt and level adjustments are 'basic' but adequate - loosen a bolt, adjust, tighten the bolt. They are intended for infrequent adjustment, not constant tweaking.
