Decent - Directions need improvement!

The product is decent. The directions are not great. Had the instructions been better I could have done this job in less than an hour. It took me three ( I am a very handy person). I would recommend redesigning the hardware packaging so it makes better sense. Very confusing. FYI -
the included hardware is for several flat screen types but its also interchangeable and not all options were listed. Written instructions were limited.
Leveling the TV using this bracket is irritating. If you are looking for constant straight lines or perfection I would not suggest this one. Its not possible to keep it in the same position when you push it back or pull it out without adjusting each time. It might just be the way this style of bracket in any brand would be. My first time using this type. I would give it 3.5 starts if I could because it is sturdy and a good product for its price range.

Bought to mount a smaller 32" tv with VESA 200x100. Although the mount says it works with this size, it's not intuitive at all. Had to jerry rig the parts and pieces together to make it work.
Also, the way the tv attaches to the wall mount part is with thumb turn screws. It is impossible to get these tight enough to prevent the tv from wobbling/getting out of level with moving it around on the mount. I'll be going to Home Depot to buy nuts and washers to replace this poor design.
All in all, an average product in my eyes.

I tried another brand of mount first but returned it because it required either two studs at just the right place or several large holes in the sheet rock in order to insert molly bolts or other heavy duty wall anchors. This one mounts on one stud, which makes it easier to center on the wall. Because it folds more to one side then the other, you can chose which stud to mount it on so it will be centered. To figure out which stub to use, just lay mount on floor and measure where center is when folded left, then measure where center is when folded right and pick stud that will land it closest to center and which way to fold it). Bit stiff to adjust angle but expect over time it will loosen up a bit.

I have not mounted this to the wall yet because our room remodel is not yet underway. However, I did mount the backplate to the TV and discovered that one of the two thumbscrews used to secure the TV to the arm is improperly machined and wobbles when screwed on. It makes me wonder what the overall quality of the product is. I will update this review after I mount the unit.

Overall, I don't regret this purchase at all. I do notice that the balance is not spectacular. There doesn't seem to be a way to lock the screen into being level, so if you're OCD and you'll adjust it frequently -- you might consider spending a little more so that you're not fussing over the 1-3CM tilt. It has a nut on the back that is meant to be adjusted by hand, but it's as tight as I can get it and it doesn't prevent the balance from getting messed up every time I adjust the TV.
