Just bought two of these (each one cost under $4 as an "add on" item). They were great. I had none of the problems that others have voiced. Mine did not have ants. The seals were fine. I wasn't expecting a six pack.

I thought the flavor was amazing. It's not quite as good as the local place that charges $3/serving, which, by the way, has the best Horchata I've ever tasted. But the Rice Dream is really, really close. Not too sweet, but sweet enough to hit the spot. I will probably buy this again soon.

I waited 3 months to review this.

First, I love this product. Rice Dream Horchata is not too sweet or cinnamony or chalky. Almost as good as homemade and it does not need refrigeration until opened. It does contain carrageenan, which is a natural substance and acts as a slight thickening agent. It's in most commercial almond, rice, coconut milks, etc. There is mixed information that this can be harmful to you.

Second, and most IMPORTANT!! The descriptions do not match. Read carefully. Description says it is for 6 boxes (that's the standard case.) It is for ONE 32 oz. box. It is fulfilled by Amazon. Amazon has still not corrected description, although I did receive my money back.

Retail price for this is somewhere between $3.00-$3.50 and this listing is selling the SINGLE box for over $8.

I know Amazon does a poor job of mixing products and reviews and sellers, so at some point, my review may end up attached to the wrong product or listing. At this time, there is a listing for the case of 6 for around $20-$22. That is the product you want (unless you want to spend $8 for what is essentially a 7-11 Big Gulp or a Super Big Gulp if you add ice.)
