Great product to make surface slippery

Amazing stuff. My curtains are on a rod 160" long so there are three sections to the rod. I always had to tug the fabric or climb a ladder to open or close them. I affixed this magic tape to the rod and now no sticking. The tape is easy to put on but you must be patient and precise. I'm sure I'll find more uses for this fabulous product. Worth every penny.

We have a 1920's house, with original kitchen and builtins. Needless to say, the old wood cabinets don't have fancy metal slides, so it's wood on wood. This tape is amazing. Easy to install. It looks like thick scotch tape. Cuts with scissors. I did my whole kitchen in under an hour, with a pair of scissors and a roller. The drawers don't as well as if I rebuilt the cabinets and put in Accuride slides, but plenty good enough, and much easier and cheaper.

Used it to line under drawer slides. Drawers that were sticking no longer stick and slides easily - mind you I also sanded the edges before applying the tape. It has been two years and still works great. Haven't had to reapply or anything.

This type is an easy & quick solution for an old dull drawer/track problem. Just measure how much length you need, remove the release liner, then type over the area where the drawer track. It instantly gives you smooth sliding feel. Nice and easy!
Excellent for drawer bottoms and other slippery needs.

I have a small sood shop, and, periodically need yet another set of drawers. Sliders are expensive, and take room in the cabinet. There are two solutions I've found. One is to properly shape and wax hardwood runners. The other is to apply the CS Hyde UHMW tape to plywood drawer bottoms. This works like a decent drawer slide, and takes all of 3 minutes to apply. The adhesive is sufficient to keep it on the drawer after considerable use.
Another use for it is on the bottom of table saw jigs, like a table saw sled. Even though I keep my table saw lubed, this tape is a significant improvement on easy movement of a large sled. Just a few strips makes a lot of difference.
