Exactly what I wanted. Pulling into the garage and positioning my car(s) perfectly is now very simple. Easy to put together. At this time the light works when my car touches the pole. I have another one that the battery needs replacement, but not really necessary since I can see when the car touches the pole moving the sign..."I have arrived at my stopping point". Easy to move when needing to clean the garage. I sent one to a relative...he loved it! Other cheaper models available, but my original Park N Place is still working fine after more than 4 years of use. Yes, i would buy it again.

I bought this for my grandmother who had a jerry-rigged setup made of 2x4's that she would bump and let her know when to start. I was a cumbersome, huge setup on the garage floor which I hated seeing and I waited for her to trip on it and break a hip. I saw this on a daily deal and don't know why I didn't think of buying her one of these earlier. It is just wonderful going over to her house now and only seeing this in place of the hip-breaker.
Stop lights flash in the breeze when used outdoors, but it works fine without the light.

I just set up my Park N Place and it does just what I wanted it to do. I set it up on my driveway so I could park between the garage doors as close to the garage as possible to allow more room to get around behind my vehicle. The only problem is that the sensor for the flashing lights is extremely sensitive, any little breeze sets it off. I removed the batteries and put them with my spare batteries for future use in some other device. Otherwise, they would have flashed most of the time until they ran down. They are not really needed, I can see the sign move when I bump into it with my bumper. At least half the cost of this product must be related to the flashing light, they should make a version with no light for outdoor use.
I also set a brick on the base to be sure it didn't move when bumped by the vehicle.

Works perfect letting you know when bumper touches it (you can see little stop sign move) so you know to stop that location.

Been needing these for long time help wife park car correctly so I can have room get ladders and other tools off wall. These stand up high enough so you can gently pull up and when bumper touches you can see sign move I think there is some kind of flashing indicator light that activates at certain distance but that really does work well and is meaningless when you place sign at front bumper location of vehicle. Use heavy tape to tape cross base to garage floor so it won't move when touched by bumper because is very light. One great thing about this device compared to others I read that wouldn't even stand up. They wrote the stop sign was too heavy and rod too flimsy to stand up. Not the case with these parking aids. They strong enough to stand erect and tall enough you can see STOP sign move when your bumper touches it.

My new minivan fits in just about right in our garage and so I was having trouble getting the position of the car correct so that garage door closes. Assembly was a breeze. I found the base quite stable and does not move because of the gentle pushes from the car's number plate. I took away one star because the battery life is not a lot. I will revert if it lasts at least 6 months. However, I think the flashing lights are cool but not essential for the operations of this gadget. You can easily see the spring loaded rod moving on being bumped. Shipping was great and I got it in 3 days from the date I ordered.
