I found this to be better than the Boppy pillows for nursing
Erica Leigh Durian✓ Verified Purchase•September 8, 2017
I found this to be better than the Boppy pillows for nursing. It is thicker, so the baby will be raised up a bit higher. This is really nice if you've had a c-section. I also find this one to be better at support a larger/older baby because of the bigger size. I did not buy a separate cover; any spills wash out just fine by tossing it in the washer and dryer.
As an OT, I recommend thiw product!

I'm an occupational therapist and I bought this pillow for my daughter to give her a little more head support while sitting as she was born premature (she just turned 5 months old). This pillow does its job beautifully! I usually lay her down using another pillow underneath to prop her up a little more during sitting. The straps stabilise her upper torso leaving her hands free for play. I also do lots of tummy time with it; just after a few tries, she was able to use her arms to push herself up, allowing improved head control. Because the material it's so soft, but sturdy, she always looks comfortable and secure in it. I'd definitely recommend this product! If you feel that the back isn't high enough, you can always use it on a couch with pillows underneath (or to the sides) for added support.
In my opinion this pillow is better than the boppy

In my opinion this pillow is better than the boppy. It is sturdy and supportive. Gives my aching arms a break and my daughter is comfortable. Will also fit the boppy cover though it is a snug fit. I did not give all five stars only because I do see some fibers coming out of the pillow (show in first pic) and if I didn't have a cover for it, I would worry about the baby getting these in her mouth. Also, when you do cover it, you don't get to use the strap in function which is a really awesome bonus feature on this pillow.
Shoddy construction. Developed a hole after three days of use.

I got this to breastfeed my baby. After using it for about three days--my baby is now one week old, the seam burst at one of the ends of the pillow and fluff started leaking out. Now it's basically just taking up space on my couch. I purchased another brand (my Brest friend pillow) and am much happier.
Great idea, design needs refining

Love the idea. This is the only nursing pillow I have found with a strap for baby to sit. However, the product still needs to be refined. Here are the problems:
1. The piece that comes between babies legs and Velcro's on the side is so wide that the baby must sit with its legs held open and the material digs into their thighs. My three-month-old is not chunky by any means and he has marks on his thighs when I take him out. I magine a chunky baby would be very uncomfortable.
2. There is no way to wash this pillow. The cover does not come off and you cannot wash the whole pillow in the washing machine. So if you have a baby with reflux, this pillow is going to be gross quickly. I bought this pillow because my son has reflux and it helps them to not lay flat, but he threw up on it one good time and it soaked through the cloth into the cotton, and now the pillow stinks.
