This was trivial to install and effectively solved the leaking problem. I note that some reviewers were concerned with a buildup of crud in the handle of their used devices, so I disassembled mine to see. Sure enough, lots of crud. The good news is that the crud is not in the fluid path between reservoir and your mouth. That is sealed inside tubing and plastic parts. The crud is from water that leaks in around the tips, going outside of the fluid delivery path. Not worth worrying about.
Worked as promised and did the job.

Very easy to replace. Took about 5 minutes to take the two screws out, install this one and put the screws back in. I was ready to throw the waterpik away and buy a new one at $89.00, but thought, let me research through youtube videos, and am I glad I did. I still had a $22.00 balance on an Amazon gift card which brought my total down to $1.93 with shipping and taxes.
Note: be sure to put the small flapper gasket back in, before putting the assembly on, or your waterpik will not work correctly. Note the orientation of the flapper if you take it out and put it back in the correct way.

This was a great find ... and it meant I could repair my 3 year old Waterpik instead of replace it (or buying the handheld model that is not as powerful - had to return it). The plastic tube split and started spewing water all over the counter ... and became unusable. It was easy and fast (it took 2 minutes) to replace the handle. And I am glad I did, after reading some of the other reviews and learning that over time mold can develop in the handle that is hard to clean out. Highly recommend.

Love the being able to find a replacement kit. I use my water pick twice a day and worry that it doesn't stay clean because it never really dry's. Well, now that I know I can replace the handle and hose assembly, I feel much better about the water coming thru it.

Thankfully this is made to easily replace the original part found on the advertised Waterpik. I had the two wands switched out in maybe 2 minutes and the replacement works exactly as it should. Glad I didn't have to buy a whole new unit due to the mold/mildew that began spewing out of the old wand in little black flakes.
