the product i recieved was not the same as the one advertized in the image. for one it did not come with the wall hooks shown and had extra pictures taken of. second the product appears to have a laquered finish and it is a flat black sprain paint job. also has rough edges the were not properly sanded down. what i recieved is a freshmen high school students woods project. if that is what i bought. c minus. Either way I am not please.
... so I bought this rack and and it works great and they are now displayed nicely

My grandson had swords leaning against the wall in his bedroom so I bought this rack and and it works great and they are now displayed nicely.
Not what I ordered

This product is described as a wall-mountable display rack with hanging hooks included. What I was sent was a desk-mountable rack with no hanging options whatsoever. This product description does not at all match the item that will be sent to you.
Screwed...

The construction is simple, however, be warned, you may have to buy your own screws. On the up side, this item DOES have pre-drilled holes where the screws are supposed to go. The upper board is a dovetail fitting - the lower board needs screws.

This isn't made of wood. It's not even made of particle board, it's made of MDF.
The swords that I have on it are really cheap. I would NEVER trust expensive swords on it.
It came with no instructions but it did have pre-drilled holes and nails so assembly was self-explanatory. However, because MDF is so cheap and soft, the nail easily stripped the predrilled hole and it would easily slide out, not holding the top headboard.
So I decided to pre-drilled a longer hole for a longer nail. When I drilled in the actual nail, the headboard got a 3 inch split along the length of the nail. Thankfully the headboard is just decorative and doesn't provide any actual support so I didn't just toss this away and call it a loss. The split is on the bottom on the headboard so with sword in place, you can't really see it.
I also was not a fan of the paint so I repainted it a blue.

Overall, this thing is not worth the trouble. Avoid it like the plague, no matter how cheap it is.
