Glorified construction paper, utter crap, does the trick if you are on a budget; temporary fixture.

Eh, no drawstrings, just pleated paper without the diamond reinforced true blackout curtain patterning. Isn't fully "blackout" either. Adhesive is kinda meh.
However, you get what you pay for. I needed two 36 inch width blackout curtains for my massage studio, and these combined with simple DIY black curtains did the trick, though by day 3 I already had to reinforce one blind with commander strip stickies (was falling on sides.)
I figure at least I have plenty in back up for when they inevitably crap out on me. IT DOES darken the room moreso than regular blinds but black out is a reach, as these are simple thick paper blinds and it's sort of like if you crinkled up some construction paper and covered a window in it- some light does bleed through softly.

If you have a temporary project for photography or film or haunted house or whatever you need them for, these would be perfect. If you are well aware of the quality, on a budget and just need a darker room until you can afford real black out blinds, these make sense (essentially what I'm doing) but know you will eventually have to reinforce them and eventually replace them with something more permanent.
I'm giving 2.5 stars to be honest because they serve their purpose, after all my other start up business expenses I'm not dropping another 100- 200$ on the real thing yet. They are cheap crap and you get what you pay for, but they will darken (but not black out) a room and reinforcing with commander strip stickies will help their longevity from what I can discern.
Fragile and Fell Down

OK the shades were installed on a painted sheetrock surface. I carefully and firmly pressed the adhesive strip onto the boxed-in surround of each window. Then, within five days, three of the five shades fell down either completely or partially. I have guests coming tomorrow and now must rush out and try to find some double adhesive tape to reinstall the shades. Such a pain. NOT worth the money. I could have used construction paper or just towels as a temporary shade and would have saved a lot. Not happy. Would not recommend.

Did the job of quickly blocking light from a five-window room before company arrived. I did not have the time to locate, size, and install five permanent light-blocking shades on these windows. With a pair of scissors and a step stool I trimmed and installed all five shades in less than 1/2 hour. I only gave them four stars because the paper is very fragile and dented and tore easily. Dropping them and refolding after use will require patience and some skill so as not to destroy them. I recognize these are only meant to be TEMPORARY. But now I have time to choose the right ones. I will recycle these paper ones when that is done.
Pretty good not great.

The shades work nicely and give pretty close to a total black out. My one complaint is they are not consistent in length. I was combining two of these for a wide window wishing to slightly overlap in the middle. One was barely able to actually stretch out to the 6 feet length. The other did so with a few inches to spare. So the pleated folds wouldn't line up easily at the overlap. I found the same issue with others. Had I known I could have matched them up more closely, but it seems it would be easy if they all just were the same length. 2 of 6 were actually rather short. You had to pull them so flat the folds are gone to get 6 feet from them.

The clips you get with them could also work better if they were about twice as wide. If you sometimes clip up considerable amounts the narrow clips give a pinched area and a bulging area to the folds.
Absolutely outstanding!!!

Bought these as I work nights and have been unsure of new color scheme of bedroom in deciding color of the more expensive blackout curtains. Wow! am I surprised and so danged pleased with this purchase!! Easy to cut to size and put up. Cleaned with wipes around windows before applying. They've been up for over a month now with nary a problem. My central ac runs and so does my ceiling fan ( on high) and no distress, even with blinds up using supplied clips, so take those negative reviews with a grain of salt. As my significant other said " you could sleep in here hanging upside down!" (Referencing a bat in a dark cave). Best money I've spent (saved) in all my life!!! P.S. I am no longer thinking of curtains as these are very fashionable and modern looking.

These fell down overnight so I put them on with double-faced tape. They have stayed up but they stretch out terribly. A 63" blind in a 50+inch windows is now hanging nearly to the floor. I know I can clip them up. Just have not done it. They are usefull for a few days but develop problems. I had hoped for at least a month of coverage but it looks I will have to stop unpacking and take the time to find curtains for my house. I cannot recommend.

I am changing my review because I was able to solve the problems. Use a wide double-sided tape to install. Do not use the adhesive that comes with them. They will stay up indefinitely. Part of the reason that the clips comes off is because my cat like to look out the window behind them. All I have to do is to reclip them. They are still up weeks and weeks later, which makes them a great semi-permanent fix. They ARE cheap and the ARE paper but you get what you pay for.
