If you need this the bolts are probably so stuck you will pull out the insert with the puller and leave the bolt behind. therefore back where you started.

While it may work at times, usually what happens for me is the insert usually pulls out of the bolt. I would look elsewhere for a removal instrument.

Had to pull a bolt from a tree today after it passed through two targets while I was testing a broadhead. I figured I'd have to dig the bolt out but then remembered I had this little device. Screwed it in all the way and pulled back. The bolt came right out! I've broken arrows in the past screwing around trying to remove them from assorted objects or had to dig them out of trees. This saved my an arrow so It already paid for itself.
