Game arrived like 3 days after I ordered it. I installed it like normal, and the first time around the game did not want to run. I had an error message along the long lines of "Unable to authenticate original disk ..." So I uninstalled and then installed it again and now the game is working perfectly.

I purchased this older game just to experiment and see if it would run well on the newest OS.
It installed and is running perfect on Windows 8.1 (HP desktop with AMD A4 processor and AMD Radeon HD 6410D Graphics.
1. Must install all 3 Cd discs to the computers hard drive, and then put the CD disc #1 back in the tray when install is complete in order to get the launcher to work. This requirement to use the #1 disc in the tray when playing the game ID's the installation as authentic.
2. Keyboard and Mouse game instructions work flawlessly.
3. Works just as well as it did/does on Sony's console Play Station edition (PS2).
This is my experience on the above named computer.

I Hate This Game

I hate this game for many reasons. You can't use the mouse to navigate through the program. You have to use 3 cd's to install the program and takes a lot of space on you computer. I would say this game is more for a younger person under 16. In order to play the game you have to leave a cd in. You can't bye-pass the introduction which is annoying after awhile. I wish I had listened to most of the reviews before I purchased it. I wish I could get my money back but I doubt I will be able to. So I'm stuck with it. I was trying to find another game similar to Roller Coaster Tycoon, but Thrillville Off the Rails, is no Roller Coaster Tycoon in any way shape or form.

"nole0909" sells the German version to sellers in the United States! The text and dialog is in Enlgish, but the currency is German. It is annoying.
