you'd be hard pressed to find a more comfortable bike seat and yet modern looking seat. i'd give it 5 stars if it wasnt for the price going up every year. i like it so much i'm thinking about getting another one for my other bikes.

Finally found the seat replacement for my Schwinn Airdyne AD6 ! The seat that came with my AD6 fan bike was horrible and massive. I bought a bell 800 memory foam seat and another smaller C9 seat - but this larger model the "C9 cruiser sofa saddle" makes my exercise bike 20 mins comfortable. I am a big guy and this seat just works. It has a pretty deep "cavern" down the middle and lots of medium/firm padding which for me relives pressure points.

I did have to purchase a 7/8" post adapter for around 4 bucks to put this on the AD6 Bike. I also had to play with tilt angle. find myself (as others have) slipping forward on the AD6 while working out - especially on the stock seat. This makes the pressure points up front worse. At first i installed it with a very slight tilt down, but felt myself slipping forward again, and raised it level (put a flat piece of wood from back to tip to check) and found that I did not slip as much forward yet felt no real pressure pain from the front piece of the seat.

I purchased the Sunlite Cloud-9, Bicycle Suspension Cruiser Saddle seat for my fat tire off road bike..... LOVE IT. I am a big boy and this seat is comfortable and durable. I bought this seat a month before I injured my knee. Once my knee heals, I will be back riding again in comfort.

If you're looking for a saddle for a cruiser or upright posture bike, this is a nice option. It is apparently not meant for bikes where you do any sportier riding. I put it on my road bike because the factory standard prostate smasher seat was just not pleasant. However, this one is just a bit too big.

UPDATE:
After riding with this for a while I am still enjoying the comfort. However, the springs are a bit noisy. Due to the design of my bike, it is usually completely silent except for a small click sound when I shift. Now riding my bike sounds like someone creaking a screen door open and shut over and over. I won't be tossing the seat, yet, but the noise is irksome.

Here is the deal with me and these damn bike seats. I've tried a few through Amazon which is real nice because if I didn't like it I just returned it. Thanks Amazon! I've read and read reviews trying to figure out which seat will be best for me. The moral of the story is that everyone's ass and comfort levels are going to be different. So do what I did and just try one and if it doesn't suit your fancy then return it and try again. With that said, after trying other seats and other Cloud 9 seats, I choose to stay with this one. Why? Because I did not chafe with this seat. My ass didn't hurt so bad after riding it that I couldn't ride the next day. The ventilation hole does work a little but the shorts you wear make the difference too. I still had a sweaty butt. By the way, I'm using this seat on an Electra beach cruiser and I am a 35 y/o active male weighing in at 137 pounds with a boney ass. This isn't your seat if your concerned with weight because it's a bit on the heavy side. I figured it would be in order to be as padded and as wide as it is. That's all I really have to say about that.
