This stuff is amazing. I am constantly applying chapstick. It doesn't matter what season, my lips seem to always be cracking in the center. I am unable to wear tinted chapstick, or lipstick, because the color always layers in those areas creating an uneven hue. I received this in the afternoon and immediately applied it. It's thick, and a little sticky, but not so much that it's bothersome. I only reapplied it that evening before bed. The next morning I felt a difference and went about my day. I had completely forgotten about it until later that evening (the evening of the SECOND day) I did not apply chapstick once that day! That's a first in at least ten years. I have now been using this product for a week, once a night before bed and sometimes in the morning. My lips feel completely different, very soft and supple. I've noticed some of the fine lines are reduced. I can't believe the difference in such a short period of time. I would highly recommend.

I've had problems with dry, peeling lips for a long time despite trying many lip treatments. Usually, if I apply a lip treatment before I leave for work, my lips are peeling by mid-morning. This treatment is different; I applied it before I went to bed the first time I used it. The next morning, there was a little peeling but my lips felt and looked much better. There seems to be some type of menthol or similarly minty substance (usually I don't react well to that, which is why I can't use Burt's Bees), but it doesn't have any negative effect in this balm. I'm about to buy a second tube so that I will have one tube at home and one in my purse. Great find and much less expensive than many other lip treatments online.

I've struggled with dry lips as long as I can remember. My dad even jokes around and calls me lizard lips when they get really dry. I've tried so many different lip balms over the years and this stuff works the best so far. I received this yesterday evening and my lips were flaking they were so chapped (gross, I know and yes, I drink lots of water). I put this stuff on before bed after drinking a huge glass of water and this morning I woke up to almost completely smooth lips! I've worn it throughout the day and it stays on for a long time, and it feels a little thicker which helps me keep from biting, licking, and picking at my lips like I usually do. Waiting to see how it does in the long term, but very pleased especially for the price.

it's okay, works about the same as any other product out there. if you're looking for a super moisturizing balm, get this stuff C.O. Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm No 306- it's awesome

Sorry for the title - I am desperately hoping that someone will be Googling a treatment for Exfoliative Chelitis and come across this review. This changed my life and I suggest that you buy several tubes as I plan to purchase their whole store soon :)

I could go on and on and ON about all the lip treatments I've tried. One day, I LITERALLY went to Walgreens and purchased one of every "specialty" lip treatment on the rack ($76.24, just so you know). They are all in the garbage.

After that, I went to Sephora and purchase all of their lip treatments ($168.10. D@MN!). Also ALL garbaged.

I have tried 6 prescriptions products as well, most intended for hand or face moisturization or healing. No avail.

Anyways, this is me desperately trying to keep it short, so the bottom line is THIS STUFF WORKS! I have determined over the years that the one and only ingredient that truly heals my lips is Lanolin. NOT lanolin oil - don't be fooled.
