Stays cold and pliable for a very long time
Amazon Customer•February 14, 2018
I bought this set of ice packs prior to knee replacement surgery. I had an "ICE MAN" therapy ice pack machine which I used during the day but at night I would use the large ice pack over my knee and sometimes place the smaller one near my ankle to reduce swelling. They stayed cold and pliable for up to 6 hrs. I have never had an Ice pack stay cold for so long. I wouldn't recommend heating them. The directions say you can heat them in boiling water or the microwave. I tried both with one of the packs but wasn't too impressed. I think they are best for cold packs.
High quality ice packs at a good price

This set of ice packs is good quality and a good price. The large is good for upper or lower back or a hip and stays cold for a long time.It freezes so solid I have to cover it with a thin towel and let it thaw a bit before I use it. The chiropractor who recommended it said to use it on my lower back until it is numb, then remove it. It does help. The long one is good for the neck or the head if you have a headache, and the small good for the head or a small body part that need chilling. I have used all three many times with. no signs of leaking. A very similar (appeared to be the same brand) large pad lasted several years before it sprang a leak so I hope these will prove as sturdy.
I use these to keep lunches cool
Kimmy Kong•October 16, 2016
I use these in soft insulated lunch bags to keep food cool. If I use them in the hottest part of summer, and the lunch bag is outside with me (perhaps if I'm spending the entire day at the zoo), they will not keep the food as cool as I like if I leave it for 4+ hours. They rarely keep my soda pops ice cold as I would like. But they work great to keep sandwiches cool on most days. I get lots of compliments on these when I use them for this purpose.
Fantastic! Stay cold, pliable & comforting. Will buy again!

These have become my absolute FAVORITE icepacks for my cervical/high thoracic/neck & shoulder needs, and I have tried a LOT! A little background, I was seriously injured 4+ years ago, have had 4 cervical fusions so far, need a lumbar fusion, and have a large section of thoracic that cannot be fixed. I literally live on icepacks, and more than half of my freezer is monopolized by them. Sometimes it feels like I've tried every icepack on the market, from cheap to expensive and back again, and I've been disappointed by most. Until now.
This varity pack from Accurate is fantastic!!! These ice packs get cold fast, stay cold a surprisingly long, are pliable & sooo comforting!
The smallest is my least favorite as it both looks & feels as if it was slightly underfilled compared to the other two icepacks received with it, so it doesn't stay cold as long as the other two (this may have been a manufacturing booboo? Not sure.). This size is also just a bit too short to hit all of the places I'd like it to on my neck,, but it's a good backup & is used fairly regularly since it stays colder a tad longer than most other icepacks.
The "medium'' size (5×18) is FANTASTIC for the neck! It's wide enough to hit from the base of the skull down to shoulders, and can drape across shoulders, or wrap around the neck depending on what you need. And, this size stays cold for 3-4 hours! Love it & I'll be buying at least one more!
The "Large" 10×15 is my #1 favorite icepack of all time! The size is fantastic, because it can cover my entire neck, shoulders & top of thoracic, or can be folded in half lengthwise & used around my neck overnight ~ doubling it up like this gives me the cold I need almost all night, which absolutely wonderful for me! Plus, when the first side gets a bit warm, I can flip it over for another hour or two of cold! LOVE! Absolutely buying another!
All of the icepacks in this variety pack freeze quickly, retain cold nicely & remain mostly pliable. They can freeze solid if your freezer Is cold enough, but if that happens to yours, just squish them with your hands a few times,, and *POOF*! Like magic, they're malleable again & will easily mold themselves to any body part you need them for!
I absolutely love these icepacks, and plan to replace my menagerie of disappointing icepacks with these wonderful beauties that put all other pliable icepacks I've tried to shame!
* I've been using these since late December 2015 with no issues, and will update if anything changes or if any develop leaks... fingers around they don't!
(For mid thoracic through lumbar my favorites are the Polar Tech 6×6" ice brix ~ they're also fabulous!)

The different sizes for all the different uses is really a great packaging idea
K-Lo•February 13, 2016
I was given 2 of these packs from my chiropractor and swear by them! When we traveled out of state, I placed them behind my back while driving, then rotated the other one in from the ice chest. That worked swell 'till we left them at the hotel room in the fridge. Hoping I ordered the same brand as my chiropractors ice packs, I was elated to open the package to find the same ones!! The different sizes for all the different uses is really a great packaging idea. These stay cold far longer than any pack I've ever tried and the fact that I've broken my back twice, there have been a LOT.
