If you like to drink Manhattans and if you just want the very best cherries money can buy look no further. I will not eat a maraschino cherry. These are totally different. They taste almost like wild cherry life savers but better.

A restauranteur shared his secret for the cherri-est taste in the world and I'm passing it along. A little goes a long way when mixed half and half with tart pie cherries. I smiled when I read that these Amarena cherries wouldn't last long enough to worry about storage. Wipe the smug off my face--four pies later and we've polished off half of seven pies' worth already.
