Standard swivel hook lanyard

I buy these often from various vendors for my conferences and it was my first time buying through Amazon.
They worked well, but the only problem I had with this particular brand was that it has a very strong odor -- probably from the petroleum based dye. At first I was a bit worried that the dye would rub off on white or light colored clothing, but it didn't.
One thing to note about these swivel hook lanyards is that they do tend to swivel around and flip the name tag. So unless you print the name tags on both sides, you will see people walking around with blank name tags.

These are your "plain and simple", no frills, lanyards, but incredibly cheap! The merchant promptly shipped them. The ring style is for clipping on to a badge holders with metal clips. The ring on the end is one of those serrated rings, like on a key ring, so you might be able to use this lanyard with a plain badge holder (without the metal clip) but if you had a hundred to do, it might be very time-consuming to attach the lanyards to the badge holders. Note: these badge holders are NOT adjustable as for length but simply put a knot in the other end of the lanyard to shorten it to fit.

Good product for the price. I would have given it a 5 star if it had been a little heavier duty. Light to medium duty, but it gets the job done for a very reasonable price. Makes those seldom used keys (with attached tags) manageable and a lot less chance of misplacing and wondering what in the world it's for. Seems like it's getting much harder to remember what all those keys in the drawer or glove box are for....this gets the job done. Be sure and order tags that attach so you can write a discription of what the key or keys open. Also helps find the keys much easier when you set them down. The red strap shows up across the room...no more frustrating searching for those keys I just had in my hand!

I'm giving these 4 stars because I have found that the lanyard does break rather easily. This isn't terribly concerning as there are 30 in the box and only about 4 of us at any time are wearing lanyards. Additionally, I somewhat see this as an unintentional positive as I work with kids and sometimes these lanyards are grabbed. I'd rather it break away than be a safety hazard! I don't think, however, that this was the purpose or they would have been designed with a break away feature whereas they would go back together! For the price, though, they are performing exactly as they should be! Bottom line, I would purchase these again.

when i ordered these i didnt except to get a well made product --i figured if i were getting twenty four for the price of $9.47 they would not be of high quality --i figured i could use the lanyards for holding extra keys and badges--but i was very surprised when i got the order--these are well made--the hook/clip on the end is not the greatest but it is a good product--i am very happy i ordered these-they are worth the money--
