My sister inlaw makes this rice for her family every night and the aroma is excellent. So since I have a steamer I decided to purchase this as well. It is excellent. As far as rice goes it is pretty much the same, however it gives you plenty of opportunity to add other items to enhance it but it is not necessary. I love the taste and have added Cilantro for color. It really adds another option to my dinners. A person can only eat so much broccoli. Grill some center cut pork loins, add some rice and broccoli and you have a great healthy meal. This bad does reseal however I took it a step further and placed it in a gallon zip lock bag. You will just love the aroma as this is cooking.

You know, not as good as the Thai Hom Mali stuff we get from Costco. The grains are bit more crumbly and less robust. Not bad, but I would not purchase a second time.
