This works perfectly. The key is to keep everything floured up. Best spaghetti we've ever had. Forms perfectly round spaghetti (as opposed to the flat pasta cutter that comes with the pasta roller)

I learned pasta making from my Italian aunt, when I was just a lad, and the hand crank Cucina that I use today was almost exactly what she used in Italy.
Although a pasta motor was not a part of her tradition, when she got older, it became harder for her to turn that crank. When I got her one of these pasta motors, she wasn't all that happy because it wasn't "traditional."
Within a week she loved it... So I bought another one for myself...
It's well constructed, and easy to attach to the pasta maker... my eighty-year-old aunt can do it. I will say that you really need to have a solid mount for the pasta maker, but that's true of pasta making with or without a motor.

Product (Ravioli Maker) is a quality product and is very well made. The finish and function appear to be very good. I never used it since I ordered the wrong attachment for the pasta machines we already have. The Amazon seller was awesome, Amazon Seller - Kasbahouse, and very responsive to my return request. I love this little motor! It makes rolling out a batch of pasta so much faster and easier. 1)It eliminates the need to clamp the pasta roller and so set up is much more convenient. 2)It speeds up the process of making a quick batch of pasta. 3)It means you have both hands available to guide and catch the pasta as it goes through the rollers.
The graphics-only directions are incomprehensible and you will experience as bit of angst as you first try to figure out how to set it up, but once you do, it is easy. Make sure the one you buy has the proper blue plastic bracket because you need this to attach it to the roller.
