Key features

  • CONTRACTOR GRADE - The #1 straight edge clamp on Amazon for 10 years! The CW99's extrusion is super rigid CW99 and features an extremely wide jaw, which allows for direct attachment of a story stick, instead of requiring a wide jaw accessory.
  • VERSATILE - No more C-clamping to guide your power tools for a truly straight cut. This CW99 will help you cut down a piece of plywood, hold a table-top glue up in place, or start and finish a router project. It is both rigid and light, which makes for ease of use.
  • COMPATIBLE - Its low profile is compatible with bearing shank router bits and makes for all around easier operation. The sliding jaw locks into the clamp cavity via an expanding mechanism, completely eliminating side-shift.
  • ADJUSTABLE - Simple adjustability with the locking clamp pad. This clamping tool eliminates the need for XWJ(Wide Jaw) attachments and matches current C Series accessory offerings (XCSP, XCRP, XCSB).
  • OUR GUARANTEE - We are confident that you will find the remarkable Allin-One, 99" Straight Edge Contractor Clamp to be one of the most valuable and useful tools in your workshop or work truck.
  • No more C-clamping with a self-clamping straight edge to guide your power tools for truly straight cuts

Good Tool for Cutting Down 4x8 Material, Especially 5/8 Drywall
Alien BitflipperJuly 31, 2015
This tool really takes the anxiety out of cutting down 4x8 material, especially drywall. It is a sturdy ruler that is thick enough to work as a fence or blade guide. The locking clip on the far end (there are two adjustable clips) takes getting used to, especially when wearing gloves; but it works. Immediate improvement in my drywall cuts.

I thought that I would be doing 4ft. or less cuts as well as 6-8ft. cuts with this tool - it does adjust and clamp all the way. Turns out that it is too cumbersome for smaller cuts to suit my taste.

The only real drawback to a straightedge this long is that it's tough to find a handy place to put it between uses.

Although the plastic locking mechanism is well-made, I worry that it may fail before I'm done with it - if it does, I'll edit this review and knock some stars.
Not for contractors.

I used these to build a set of kitchen cabinets. After a 2-3 weeks of heavy daily use they were not as easy and at times very frustrating to set. After heavy the use, the cams just would not grab. The 12" never did grab and is a brick. When new, they were excellent and I really thought these were a keeper.
These seemed like a great alternative to to pushing 4x8 sheets of 3/4 ply through a table saw alone, and they are. However they just don't hold up to heavy daily use. It is great to be able to cut a table saw quality line with a circular saw. It is also great for cutting dados with a router. I think for a home owner these would be the best thing since rolled oats but for me I will probably be making a new set of shooting boards to use with my circular saw.
Nice cutting edge.

The locking system is great. The till it's well made. The only negative is the numbers and measurement markings are blurred and faded on the sides.
