Value for money in low frequency range

This is a good probe at its price. There are similar probes from Tektronix and Aglient but they cost about 50-100 dollars more than this for some reason I can't understand. I have used the more expensive ones like Tektronix TCP312, but for low frequencies like DC-20kHz, this probe does the trick at 1/7th of the cost of the Tektronix one (TCP312). Its clip (where the current carrying wire is held) has also a thicker diameter than the high frequency (50-100 MHz) probes, so currents in wires thicker than 16 AWG can be measured with this probe. I use it for current measurements in power electronic circuits, where I also want to see the switching frequency component riding over the lower fundamental output frequency component. If someone is only wishing to measure 60 Hz currents or maybe upto third harmonic (180 Hz) currents, then one could be better off buying a current clamp which is usually about 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of this probe.

Really nice current probe. Worth the money.
Adapter required to use with a Fluke Digital Multimeter

Five stars for a (pricey) great clamp. Subtract one star because Fluke does NOT include the PM9081 adapter necessary to make it compatible with their DMMs. Had to order this adapter. Fifty bucks for a BNC-Banana adapter? You've got to be kidding me.
