I love the clamp feature. I love the non contact voltage feature. Ease of use because of the clamp is often a big plus. I am still learning to use this clamp meter to get the full benefits that an electrician knows how to do. This is one of two meters I purchased together. Each one has its pluses. Both have been showed to electricians and they tell me they look as good and has as many features as theirs do. When I compare the numbers of their multimeters, the numbers are often exactly the same.

The first thing I did after receiving this, was compare some voltage and current readings with several other VOM's I own....the readings pretty much fell within the averages of the other readings. I couldn't compare capacitance, as I had no others to compare against, but did check several new capacitors and the readings were very close to spec.
Only complaint is some of the LCD icons are so tiny they're hard to read without a magnifier, but my eyes are aging so I won't hold that against it.
As with any new purchase, the best review would only be after owning the product for several years, so we'll see how this one stands up over time.

I was very leery, but this seems to be a good value for general use around the house. Of course the first thing I did was test the continuity of the leads, there is no beep function. It doesn't immediately read ~0 like a fluke would. It takes several seconds to stabilize, so bear that in mind. I tested the voltage of my wall outlets next, and it worked. The amp clamp was then used to test the house power at the panel. It seems to read a little low, but I have no idea how much current my furnace actually uses, only what it is rated for. I've gotten inconsistent results trying to test the amperage of smaller wires with less current draw. I'm not sure if it is the proximity to other wires, but I did correctly attempt to read from the individual hot wire. Temperature probe reads the same as my thermostat. The no contact voltage is kind of annoying since you have to move it slowly towards the wire you want to read, but it works. Minor gripe, but I wish it had individual selections for AC/DC, but you have to toggle between with a button. This is similar to the cheaper flukes as well, so take it with a grain of salt.
