The sticky tape does not work. Ended up falling and getting bent, had to throw it away. But light it perfect, should have screwed it in but apt living is just so hard.

Don't confuse the bottom plate with the batter cover. The base gives instruction on how to remove it so you might understandably make this mistake--as I did. The battery cover is on its side. This product is so-so. Gives me pause that there is no provision to contact the seller with questions so you'll have tom make do with Amazon's helpful customer reviews.

This item is perfect for spotlighting the naked Barbie tableau on your wall where it would be difficult to run electrical power. There are a lot of LED battery powered accent lights coming on the market now, but this price is still competitive. Well designed and easy to mount with detachable base. Swivels and has 2 settings. LED light is white and does not have the typical yellowish cast of incandescent, so keep that in mind if you are mixing up your lighting in the same area.
