Although there are other lights out there for Glock pistols, I keep finding myself going back to this one.
This one fits snugly to every glock that I own. It has a rugged construction. It is waterproof (I know because I crossed a river with it, and the light still functions).
LED lights do shine brighter, but you can focus this light to make it blinding on an enemy intruder.
Plus, the light is bright enough that it is comparable to most LED lights. Not to mention the price point is very reasonable given the price of some of the other tactical lights out there.
So in the end, the light is like a Glock: it gets the job done.

Not worth $10

I've always stuck with streamlights tlr's. I decided to save a couple bucks and give this one a try, while it fits great on my Glock 34, the look is about all it's really good for. There are a million narratives on lights on home defense guns, LED vs Xenon, how many lumens, etc. whatever your beliefs are I can almost assure you this will not fit into your criteria. Any weapon light should come on with some haste, upon flipping the switch, it takes a brief moment for the light to fully illuminate. Almost like it's trying to catch up to the fact that you just turned it on. Most importantly however, it will occasionally not turn on at all. It did come with a spare bulb, which I tried as well as several new sets of batteries. It's the unit itself. It's a real bummer because I love the quick attach/detach aspect, guess I'll pick up another streamlight, and I would highly recommend that if you take your weapon lights seriously you do too.
Excellent Fit but.....

compared to other lights (Surefire and Streamlight) it just wasn't near as good a light. It seem dull and just didn't display well.
You're Paying for the Glock Name

About half as bright as my Streamlight TLR-1 (which costs about $15 less than the Glock light). I purchased this for the OEM look on my G19 but the bulb is yellowish vs a bright white. Disappointed with Glock on this one - thinking they should stick to firearms and leave lighting to the professionals. In the photo you can see the comparison of the TLR-1 (left) vs Glock (right).
Three Stars

Not as bright as I'd liked. It does perform adequately.
