I used this box to install a Rainmachine. I wanted to give tips to newbies like myself who were reading through reviews looking for any tips. Those holes at the bottom are 1/2 for the gfci and 3/4 for the sprinkler cables. That will help you find the parts you need. I already had an old orbit controller plugged into the wall. To install the rainmachine I took an old outdoor extension cable and cut off the female end and stripped it. I used those cables on the gfci and I was ready to go.

The box itself was really easy to install. It has a lot of holes for you to mount the rainmachine but none of them actually match up so you will need to pick a spot and one hole, and then drill out another.

Worked for my 1st gen Rachio Iro. I mounted it upside down in order to get it to fit with the straight power plug. The lock on the side barely pulls tight enough to seal the box though because it is so loose. It should be OK though.
Nice quality, heavy duty and watertight

Nice quality, heavy duty and watertight. Love the outlet with GFCI outlet inside. Made mounting controller simple and painless.
A bit bulky but works fine

a) It is listed and sold as a pair for "Rain Machine", which is partially correct. It only kind of fits. Rain Machine is not explicitly listed as one of the models for the enclosure, but you can make it fit. The "USB antenna" that is on top of the Rain Machine unit will cover one of the screws that is holding the board.
b) Other than that it is rather large, but well made and looks decent
Useful for the application

This was purchased to allow me to mount a Wifi irrigation controller outside my home. Fits the usage well. This only problem is the unit comes with a ground fault plug, which then plugs into another ground fault plug outside my home. Any trip of the ground fault caused me to go outside, unlock the unit, and reset the ground fault. I replaced the unit's ground fault with a regular plug. This allowed me to simply reset the plug in my garage in the event of a fault.
