Cracked Sleds after 4 runs

I had borrowed these sleds to use sliding down 2 miles of trails in Washington. They were durable and held up well so I decided to buy my own. 2 of the sleds in this 3-pack cracked after about 4 slides down a hill no longer than 50 yards. Each of us was well under the max weight and the hill was powder. I was SO disappointed because we had planned to be on the hill longer and had to leave early. Totally wasted $41 and because I didn't use them right away I can't return them! If you choose to buy anyway use them before the return window closes in case you have the same experience.

The sleds are fast, fun, and easy to ride. Unfortunately they are not durable. So far two broke on their first outing, one cracked as I was going up a small jump and I saw it disintegrate around me while I was flying through the air. The crowd loved it but it cut my fun short. Not worth the price or wastefulness.

We used these sleds for our trip to the beach this summer and they were awesome! I could put our cooler, floats, towels, beach bags, sand toys- everything- on a sled and drag it down the beach! Way way way easier than any beach cart, stroller, or wagon that I've seen. Once we set up our beach spot, I filled the sled with water for the kids to play in and use to build castles and moats. These sleds made our beach days so much easier and so much more fun!

These sleds are awesome and very fast...until they're not awesome and very fast. One of the sleds cracked within minutes, while the other two lasted for a few hours of sledding with my kids. They all cracked at the bottom of the hill when going from a downhill slope to a slight uphill slope.The sleds would flex, bend too much, and then crack. And as we all know, crack is wack!

Bought these for me and my beer drinking friends in advance of last week's big snowstorm. We had a total blast using them, but they are not indestructible. The cold makes them brittle, and keep your feet and knees out of them. Just find a big hill, sit or lie down and have someone give you a big push. We inadvertently found a 3 foot dropoff which was the ultimate demise of all three sleds. We were finding pieces of jagged blue plastic in the woods a day later (ok, we were sledding at night the first time and didn't see the dropoff). The upshot is, you can stack them together as they start to come apart. Have some duct tape on hand; some nice long strips on the bottom and covering cracks, and you've got at least another 30 minutes of sledding. They really fly on a nice steep downhill. Steering takes some practice, best achieved by using your hands as rudders. All that said, these are perfect for little kids but adults need to take it easy, or do what we're going to do next time, and find some aircraft grade aluminum bullet shaped projectiles coated with a non-nutritive cereal varnish, and take to the neighborhood slopes once again. Bring the snow!
