Saved my bung!

This held up well to a cross threaded stainless bung, and cut new threads like a champ. The old sensor tore it up pretty good, which ruined the next sensor I tried. After carefully ratcheting it in, backing it off a bit every so often, I was able to run it all the way in, and back it out like butter. The anti-seize keeps most of the metal crumbs from falling into the exhaust, so I cleaned out the crud and reapplied it 2-3 times throughout the process. If you do any kind of exhaust work yourself, it's well worth the minimal investment, even if you don't need it yet.

So far I've used this to clean up four O2 sensor threads on my car.
I used a little antiseeze when threading it in.
Like most of Lisle's tools, it's well made.

Tool works as intended, even if the threads aren't damaged this tool is worth the money just for piece of mind. Just take it slow and steady.

Always a good practice to chase the threads and clean them after removing older O2 sensors and before installing new ones. This tool makes the job quick and easy.
