This thing is awesome, it checks all my boxes for what I am looking for in a hot plate thing
Didn't work
Georgia Girl•January 11, 2017
It isn't working. I purchased this for a dinner party but sadly, it did not work so the food did not stay warm. The red light is not coming on and the tray is not heating. I will try replacing the fuse as indicated in the booklet and supplied with the product; but a new tray should not need an immediate fuse replacement. This is not a cheap product. If I can get it to work, I will revise my rating but not to 5 stars. If it still doesn't work I will revise my review and return the product. Glad I kept all the boxes it came in.
UPDATE: I replaced the fuse and the tray is working. Still too early to review since I have not had an occasion to use it.

Tray works great.
Does its job well

This warming tray met my expectations 100%. The heat is nicely controllable by a knob on the back side, where the power cord comes out. The power indicator on the front, visible in the picture, is kind of dim, but at least it works and is not too obtrusive. The power cord coming out of the back is nice and heavy to safely carry the current, but of course that means it's also kind of stiff. You will need to leave some space back there for it. I've used it to heat single plates as well as a stack of them. Worked fine. It would probably keep a casserole warm as well. The controllable heat is the key.
