Broke a needle and a bit noisy

Rarely drops stitches if you use something that has some stretch to it. Do not advise cotton, bamboo, etc. Used a thicker #4-5 yarn and snapped a needle right off.
I've made lots of premie hats on this with ease. The flat panels are definitely a learning curve a lot more than the circular. Just a bit more to make sure the edges are working correctly and not dropping.
I've made bunnies on this (and a big poofy dinosaur on the king size.
I use this size a lot for making dye blanks. Wind into tubes, dye yarn, and pull out and roll into balls to use on a project.
The winding does do some harsh wear on your shoulder. Needs an adapter for most yarns to help with tension. You can find a tension fork here on Amazon for cheap.

This 22-pin ADDI works well with various yarns of caliber and fluff. I made socks with blue velvet for my son in law who loves blue, and socks. Also it made other fluffy blue socks as well. It balks at cotton though because of cotton's nature: It doesn't stretch. But I haven't used a blended cotton yet. I liked the tension and tighter weave of the Addi so I purchased the 46-pin Addi as well. It hasn't arrived so I can't tell you how great it is yet.

Don't buy the sentro 22 , waste of money . I bought that one first. Junk died so fast only used it a few times . Decided to spend the extra for this addi ! It is so much more durable and I have made so many projects on this one ! I posted a few pictures of some of the things I made ! Buy the addi you won't be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. I like it...one of the 4 legs had a faulty inner screw that was loose and the crank makes that sound...not sure if I am supposed to hear it. Will give it a try before considering returning.

We will have a friend instructor but if you don't have a friend helping you this 22/28 needle size is perfect for pieces of stuffed animals. You tube supplies guidance and straight knitting for Afghans is available. Then get the 48 needle size for stuffed animals. Teddy bears, unicorns, pigs and cows to name a few. Try it, you will get addicted. 😀
