I hadn't owned Blundstones since childhood and when I saw a sale on them I said, it's time!

I was 5 minutes away from returning them at first. I didn't realize that this boot goes above the ankle and I wasn't keyed in on how I need to wear good socks with these. I'm SO glad I didn't send them back.

Now I wear them every day and I've switched from an ankle socks girl to a high athletic socks girl. They are comfortable and sturdy. I now feel weird wearing any other shoes quite honestly. These give me strong and confident steps! And literally go with anything. I wear them around town or even to weddings.

Tips- Wear good socks. These aren't sneakers. Mink Oil them to help with water proofing. Add your own insoles.

I have been wearing Blundstone boots for over four years, and I have only good things to say about them from day one. These boots are so comfortable that I just bought my fourth pair. I own the #500, #550, #1306, and #1308, and I like that they don't need time to break them in. They are suitable for different types of work conditions and daily wear.
The dress-style boots models (#062, #063, #1306, #1308) are more stylish than the original Blundstone boot, no matter the model or color, but all of them look good with jeans, chinos, or khakis.
The last pair I bought was the #1308, but I was confused about the sizing because I usually get the 11.5 Women (US)/9.5 Men (US), but it was advertised as 9.5 Women/9.5 Men.
After searching for information on the different sizing options, I ordered the boots and waited to see what I would get. In the end, I received an 8.5 (AU) Australian size, the equivalent of an 11.5W/9.5M US size.

I wanted to try this brand to find an alternative to Doc Martins since their quality went down and I wanted a more everyday boot. I live in the PNW and finding a shoe that is non slip and looks great is an important factor to me. I have not had a slip while wearing these in everyday normal PNW weather and the only noticeable wear and tear are sides of the soles and the creasing from my foot bending. They are easy to clean/wipe off and I recommend regular conditioning. They are completely water proof and I have tested by walking through snow, streams and straight into the ocean. I have heard these have lasted some for 6 years so to me that is worth the high price point. the only terrain that I had difficulty finding tread is ice under snow and an icy side walk. It was not as grippy as I liked and am considering buying boot chains for next winter. I do find it hard to style with loose pants and a lot of dresses but that not a product issue.

I feel in charge in these shoes. I bought them 3 years ago, and they are still in great shape! I can run through the food court (6' 195 lbs), and feel secure that the shoe will keep up, and even contribute a little bounce.

These are very handsome boots and really easily compliment any smart attire. These fit quite differently to regular blundstones, namely they are more narrow, even the half width(wide) is more narrow than a normal whole size blunnie's.
They are not as comfortable,when you compound the narrow last and the hard underfoot lasting board compared to the 550 blunnie or the redback.
It rate them a solid 7 for comfort, but with boots like these they tend to fill a niche that most other boots really can't fill and for that I can't knock them, that niche being easy to slip on and very complimentary style.
So to liken it to cars, this is very much like a roadster, they look great, they make you feel better about yourself, and maybe just sometimes that's all that matters.
