Nice boot but, what showed up was a riding boot if you kook at the photo and zoom on the arch you will see that the sole at the arch is full width of the boot and same thickness as the rest of the sole .The boot was of good quality but the sole at the arch was very narrow and tapered to very thin which would be more of a riding boot for your foot to fit in the stirrup . Well my days of riding the range on my trusty stead are over I was looking for a casual all around nice walking boot like the photo shows unfortunately this boot was not going to work for me. The boot also seems to run a little wide the 11 1/2 D felt more like a E not good to have a floppy boot that isn't even broken in yet. Sorry had to return them I will have to try something else.

Really nice boots. Good fit. Comfortable and good looking. I would have gone with 5 stars, but the experience was somewhat tarnished by Sheplers. I paid extra for expedited shipping, which normally gets stuff to my porch in 4 or 5 days. The boots finally arrived in 21 days. Sheplers offered some lame excuse and said they would refund the shipping charges. Nope, no refund. Don't think I will shop with Sheplers again.

These boots fit and wear great. The major problem is with the surface

These boots fit and wear great. The major problem is with the surface. There is a shiny spray like finish on these boots and it flakes off. I can rub my hand over the boot and black flakes will be all over it. This happened with the Black Cherry and the Black color and I had to return both pairs. It seems the finish they used on these boots did not take to the leather very well. I was very disappointed. Other than that major problem they fit great

I ordered these the same size as the boots I currently wear, 9.5 D. Got them in and they looked great. Tried them on and I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe itself. So I returned them. This is the second set of boots I ordered this month that was too small. So I am tried of buying, trying them on, and having to return them. So last night I went to a local western store and bought the same boot, same size, 9.5 D, and they fit perfect.

My current favorite boots are a pair of Dan Post that are at least 20 years old and have been worn a LOT! In fact, they are on their 3rd or 4th set of soles and heels and have been worn working in a farm in water, manure and you name it. They are still usable and look good today but they are starting to need retiring (sadly).
That's why I ordered this pair to replace them. When they arrived, I tried them on and they were as comfortable as my old friends and look fantastic. I can't wait to start wearing them regularly. I highly recommend them to anyone.
