A really good product. This shredder has already done more than my previous three combined. It accepts staples, small paper clips, credit cars, cardboard political mailings without complaint. Simply reversing the shredder for a few seconds every bin full and oiling regularly has kept it in top shape. I doubt I will need the resharpening guarantee. It just keeps doing the job.
My 14 sheet Staples shredder didn't last two months. It never did more tha a half dozen pages. It kept stalling on less and less pages. After just two months it bogged down with just two pages. An inadvertent paper clip broke the teeth (It will happen).
My advice: buy this one and save money, time and aggravation.

Great shredder. I bought an Amazon basics shredder and had to return it (it would not stop running unless i unplugged it). This was only a little more $, is smooth and quiet, and holds more trash (so I don't have to change the bag as often).
Great Buy

Great Buy
Glad I invested into this.
It works great, there are very few pieces of mail that come too bulky to shread without opening them. I get a lot of junk mail so having a shreader with a larger capacity makea it easier to collect the daily mail and shread the unnecessary stuff on thw spot.
It has the normal on/off button, but also a power switch to cut the power to the machine. This is handy because I have cats and worry about them jumping up and turning the machine on. This lets me turn off both with ease when not in use. I alao like the capacity indicator light as well as the large slide out bin that can use a standard tall kitchen bag to make clean up easier and quicker.

Great Shredder, Well Designed, Shreds Junk Mail Wholesale

I love this shredder. I bought it for daily home use and annual file cabinet purging. My old shredder was incredibly loud, couldn't handle many sheets of paper at one time, and couldn't shred for very long. This shredder is amazing. Instead of making a loud noise, it emits a low hum when it shreds. It also takes a good amount of paper at one time. The most amazing thing about it is that I can stick a piece of junk mail in it wholesale and it will just shred it with little effort. No more having to waste time opening the envelopes to parse out what needs to be shredded. With just that, the shredder has saved me time and improved my quality of life. The bin is sizable and sturdy but lightweight so it doesn't fill too quickly and it's easy to remove and empty. When it gets full, a sensor takes note and lets you know. It also has a color coded lighting bar to let you know whether what you're inserting is thin or of medium or significant thickness. This is helpful for gauging how much you can insert into the shredder on the next go-round. It also has a temperature sensor so you know whether it's getting warm and it's time to pause shredding (I've yet to trigger this function). As an aside, installing the wheels wasn't that difficult. I had to push hard but I kind of pushed and twisted the wheels at the same time and they went in. No hammer was required which was a relief as I'm sure I would have cracked the wheels otherwise.
