These categories aren't very accurate; so, I'll explain my headline. I had a pair of Margie's for years, and loved them. But even though I'd purchased a pair of size 8.5, my normal shoe size, they were just a skosh on the short side. Not enough to cause discomfort or anything, but just a skosh. So, when I saw these for sale on Amazon (for about a quarter of the price I'd paid before), I ordered the next size up: a 9. Perfect sizing.

Purchased the "Cinnamon", shipping was fast, i really love the quality, it's real leather, i read other reviews pointing out issues with the quality of the product and i was worried about it but i was very surprised how good the product turned out to be, in my case. I walked in this sandals for at least 3 hours in Las Vegas in upper 80°F And i only got some of the reddish color from the sandals strips on my feet, And a bit of discomfort on the base of the big toe (after 2 hours of walks, up and downs in Vegas), not even a blister, just a sensitive spot, it happened before with another pair of sandals from the same brand in the past, when i tried them for the first time. After some break in this Sandals are good to go again.

Defective shoes. One strap on each shoe was 3 inches too short. i had purchased 2 pairs of these shoes to have on hand because I was so happy with the style, fit and color from an earlier purchase from this same company. When the sandals arrived I checked the size and color and then put them aside to wear during the next season. Because the purchase was over 60 days old when I made an attempt to put them on (straps too short) the company refuses to replace sandals or return my money. Surely they had heard from other customers and knew that they had a production problem. They do not stand behind their product. Customer service does not appear to be a priority.

I was drawn to these sandals by the cushiony, memory-foam-ish padding and their availability in narrow sizes. I usually wear a 9.5 in most brands and have narrow feet. While the 9.5 N in the Margie Sandal is a perfect fit in length and width, the shoe is only comfortable if I am standing still. The design of the straps makes it one of the most frustrating shoes I own. If I am walking on an ever so slight decline, my feet slide all the way to the front until my ankle hits the first leather X. My toes are then off the shoe, the back strap slides off and I have to re-adjust them every other step. URGH. Walking on a real decline is practically impossible. The back strap also slides off regularly, and I have to *think* about how I am walking so that the shoes stay on my feet. Any shoe that requires mental effort to keep them on is not worth my while. I so wish I could return them, but I wore them out before trying them on around the house.

Terrible quality shoes. Wore rarely and one of the leather straps pulled completely apart at the base of the shoe making them unwearable. They were not treated roughly and should have lasted way longer than they did.
