Exact replacement for original

Exact replacement for the one that came with my fan. A power surge ruined the original one I had, and the home store I bought the fan from originally only had 3 speed controls as a replacement for some reason. Be aware that fan controls like this require a full depth wall box to mount it in. Some wiring boxes are too shallow to fit these controls easily.

This switch is awful, firstly quite the nightmare to install and we just cannot get the numbers and fan speeds to line up, so we are stuck with 1 being fastest and 4 being least. It is easy enough to slide back and forth, though it makes a loud click with each increase. Overall I wish there was a better option but many of the other switches are made for fans with lightkits and we don't have a light. Not very impressed with this switch. We will be looking for a different brand with our next fan.
The speed setting is reversed.

Speed setting is reversed - 4 is the slowest and 1 is the fastest. Flipped the connections and got the same results.

Easy to install - - - the in wall switch actually enables my new fan to run at four different speeds as compared to the pull chain giving me only three speeds - - - Eliminates the need to reach high overhead to pull the chain to turn on or off the fan as well as selecting the desired fan speed.

Works fine. I personally don't like that '1', first spot from 'Off', is the highest speed, then the speeds go lower as you move the knob UP. Mine has the company logo in large black lettering on the front. Not aesthetically pleasing to me.
