One of the assembly screws was stripped; Amazon replaced the unit quickly and at no charge. The replacement was great. Here's how I use it:

Headphone output from Samsung TV --> Pyle PCA1 --> Speaker-wire connection running from living room to kitchen speakers.

Bonus: I have the Pyle unit plugged into a remote-controlled timer AC unit, so (by default) a the press of a remote in the kitchen pipes in TV sound that automatically stops (turns off the Pyle unit) after 4 hours"”so the Pyle unit doesn't accidentally stay on forever.

Postscript: Bought another one less than a year later, this time to connect a Google Chromecast Audio unit to a switcher connected to those same kitchen speakers. Also connected to a timer. Works great.

I've ordered 2 now and neither one had a working charging port on the front. Amp works but disappointed in the bad charging port. Tried multiple chargers and phones. First one made a nasty noise when charging cords were plugged in-second one just didnt work. Also to note I tried to use an amazon drop off site and I repackaged as directed keeping it half of the max size my email directions said-when I went out to drop off the package it opened one of the smallest doors not one of the bigger ones that fit the package size in my email! Customer service couldnt give me a new code or guarantee that the correct door would open if I did it again so I ended up shipping it back ups...amazon needs to work on the drop off site issue cause its a convienient idea-if it works! Not sure If I want to go through the hassle of returning this again-may just use it for the amp-hence the 2 starts as the amp and bluetooth work-but I wouldnt order it again.

I gotta admit, I was not expecting much when I ordered this power amp. I had a situation on my patio where the TV was approximately 40' from the hot tub. No way that I could hear the TV with the jets running. I could barely hear it when they were off. I installed this Pyle Home PCA1 amp and hooked it to a pair of Sony SS-MSP1 mini speakers. I was totally impressed! The sound is crisp and clear. The volume on the amp is only to the halfway mark and is more than adequate. I did run 14 gauge speaker wire which probably helped also. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with this amp. I definitely recommend this product.

Bought this unit for use in a travel trailer. Right out of the box, the USB charge port on the front was dead. No big deal, but a sign of things to come. I was able to get it to sync right away with my phone's Bluetooth and was pleased at the sound quality (for my use) and range of the Bluetooth. Used the product for about a week, then there was terrible static and greatly reduced volume on the output of both channels. (Just like everyone else has complained of). I requested a replacement, which Amazon immediately shipped me. This unit is (so far) functioning correctly, but I am hesitant about permanently mounting the unit in my RV because I feel I will just have to rip it out again. If this one dies, I will go to a different brand.

Update 6-24-2016: This equipment is junk! This replacement PCA12BT has also died, but in a different way. The right channel amplifier on this unit has gone out now. There is still clear audio coming out of the left channel speaker, but the right channel speaker level is so low that I can barely hear it. Signed on here to send this unit back but the return period is passed. (yay.) Don't waste your time or money with this crappy amp. I may disassemble it and see if I can repair it, but I won't buy another "Pyle" of s**t.

Update 8-16-2016: Went to my travel trailer on a hunch to test the PCA12BT again. NOTHING. No power, No response, Nothing. I removed it and noticed the power fuse is blown. Disassembled it and found at least one of the 3300uF capacitors is toast and squirted goo allover the adjacent circuitry. I will attempt to fix it myself, but I cannot recommend this amp at all. Now an even bigger "PYLE OF S^ ^T."

Decent AMP, could be better.

Most audio Pro's will tell you to not waste too much money on an AMP because they all do the same thing. Just go for the max amount of power you think you'll need plus a little bit more. #0 Watts isn't much but it's not like I need much anyway. These work perfectly well for audio in a single room that doesn't wake the neighbors.

Build quality is alright, not the best I've seen but nothing to complain about.

Powers my JBL S38be speakers just fine.

No EQ controls was a bit of a let down but I knew that coming in.

The cooling vents has a cheap dust filter material and I'm quite disappointed in. Would have like a fine mess to keep dust out but they used some cheap foam. If I were to change anything about this product, it would be the filters. I care a great deal about longevity of things I buy and keeping the inside clean and cool would help with that.
