My wife and I purchased a new Hobie Oasis and needed a system to carry the almost 15 foot kayak on the roof of my 2008 Ford F350. Since we pull a 5th wheel our options were limited. After reading numerous suggestions and reviews we decided on the YAKIMA Drydock, YAKIMA Q-Towers (58), YAKIMA bars, and YAKIMA Clips. Once my Curt front hitch arrived via AMAZON I began the installation process. I am mechanically challenged, refuse to read instructions, but was able to hook the entire system up in less than 2 hours. The YAKIMA system fits secure of the roof and was easy to figure out and install. The only issue I have is the wind noise that we now have at any speed over about 30 miles an hour. If there are better systems for a naked roof I would like to see them YAKIMA makes a good product that fits as advertised.
