MIRACLE SENT FROM ABOVE!
Jennifer✓ Verified PurchaseNovember 25, 2017
A GOD SENT MIRACLE! We were struggling with a borderline German cockroach infestation of our kitchen! NIGHTMARE! We were using the best sprays out there and it was helping but it was not completing the job. We decided to take on a more aggressive attack! We sprayed once a week, spot killed any live ones we found, and then I purchased these baits! Within a week they were almost ALL gone!!! It was a miracle. Now, one con of the baits is that you will have dead roaches or half dead roaches all over the place but baby it is WORTH IT!!! And the baits last for up to 8 months so you have a constant attack on these demons! I truly believe if we didn't incorporate these baits into our attack on these roaches, we would not have succeeded! I WILL ALWAYS USE THESE ARE A PREVENTION FROM SATANS ARMY!!!
The best product ever for 'palmetto bugs' / big roaches!

Living in Florida, palmetto bugs (big roaches) can be a problem, they will show up regardless of how clean you keep your house. I have tried numerous different products over the years, and nothing seemed to be very effective at keeping them away consistently. I first tried these bait strips a couple years ago & they are the most incredible roach product I've ever used. Whatever attractant is used in these strips really does get the roaches' attention & they will come eat the bait. It kills them off and best of all, when I put these strips out, I don't see roaches again for months! Seriously! Nothing I've ever used before is as effective & long-lasting as these strips have been. I've tried the little round bait traps, I've tried sprays & gels, etc -- but these strips are the best ever!

Yeah, the adhesive on the back apparently doesn't work too well, from what everyone says - but I wasn't worried about that anyway. Where do you SEE roaches crawling in your house? Usually, on the floor! I've never seen a roach crawling along the underside of a cabinet - I'm not saying they don't, but it doesn't seem to be a very common place for them! So I don't care if I can't stick these up into places like that, where roaches are less likely to be anyway! In my case, the palmetto bugs are usually down on the floor, so I tuck a few of these off in a corner, or in a gap between the wall & some furniture or some other such place. I've *seen* the roaches going at the bait, so I know they are strongly attracted to it. When I had pets, I made sure to only put these into some tiny narrow gaps way back behind furniture, or someplace where the animals definitely could not get at them, but they were still in places along the floor or elsewhere, where the roaches were most likely to be. I've never even bothered with the adhesive on them.

IF you have a lot of roaches, you very well might find dead roaches after using this product. That's icky, I know - but it shows that they are being killed! The roaches aren't always going to be courteous enough to leave your house before they die after eating this bait! :) I'd rather have to pick up a few dead roaches & then be rid of them for good, than to continue having live roaches running around!

At least for me, once I've had these strips out for maybe a couple weeks, then I don't see any roaches at all again for at least 6 months or more. That's been my personal experience, at least. I have never had any product give me this type of results, so I hope I can continue to find these strips for a long long time!

I can't say how they will work with other types of roaches - I don't have any problems with the little "german cockroaches" so I have no idea how these will work for those -- but for the big huge nasty "palmetto bug" roaches we get here in FL, these strips are wonderful!
Actually keeps big roaches away

My husband and I purchased a home seven months ago. Initially, we were seeing relatively large roaches (three to four inches long) once every couple of weeks. Every time we saw them, they were dead, but it was pretty upsetting to worry about an infestation. We sprayed with Raid and left down traps that I bought from our local hardware store. After that, we were seeing one roach every month or so, almost always in our basement. When I saw not one, but two roaches in the span of a week, I caved and bought these baits. Convinced the roaches were mostly in our basement, I set all eight traps up at various points in our basement. I ordered this product six weeks ago and it arrived within two days. Since then, I have not seen a single roach. I'm sure that the baits eventually need to be replaced with new ones, but these definitely keep large roaches at bay. They are absolutely worth what I paid (9.50 for eight traps). I will likely be buying these again!
I think they worked a little?

Have been in my apartment here on the panhandle of Florida for about 2 years now and only recently when the weather started getting extremely wet and humid did they roaches start pushing inside to my apartment. I started to notice them more and more outside of just the kitchen(where they breed) ended up in all my closests and even my bedrooms for what reason they want to be in the bedroom I don't know. No where near and infestation just more of annoyance. These aren't the giant flying roaches either thank God just minor light brown sometimes dark ones ranging from a few centimeters. So now that I've given a little back story on my problem I had to wait 3 weeks for my land lord to get a new pesticide in. So I resorted to finding my own solution and came across these bait traps. I set all eight down where I saw them the most ie the kitchen under the fridge living room closest etc. After about 2 weeks the problems still persisted.
I laid down more traps but different brands and also bombed the apartment. Still nothing.
I ended up leaving for vacation for 2 and a half weeks out of state. Upon arriving back I'd say about 90 percent of them are gone. I came back to a few carcasses in the corners of my apartment. Like I said I said another different type of trap down so it could have been that or these don't really know.
But there are still roaches here so obviously didn't do their jobs completely.
Such an easy solution. Has made an impact, but roach problem not yet completely gone.

Initially, I was bummed because I didn't think this product was working. I was even thinking about buying another roach product. Don't -- just be a little patient. It took just over two weeks (17 days to be exact) to see the results (turned over cockroaches on their backs) after placing these baits around the house, with no live ones in site. Such an easy solution. So happy with this purchase!

UPDATE: I was so excited to see dead cockroaches but it seems I have jumped the gun too soon. While I haven't seen any live ones, I just saw a cockroach egg sack (after viewing what it actually was online) for the first time in my life yesterday. So, unfortunately my problem is still not over. Even though I was hoping to avoid using any sprays, I'm going to use Gentrol IGR Concentrate (based on Amazon reviews) to keep the cockroach larvae from reproducing (but it apparently does not kill the adult population & should be used in conjunction with other solutions). I will provide an update later to let you know if these two solutions combined worked or not.

2nd UPDATE: Good news & bad news. I used to see large cockroach droppings and would occasionally spot cockroaches in my kitchen (in the corner, by my toaster oven) & other areas of the house. Good news: I placed the Combat bait behind the toaster oven & after about a month, all the cockroaches in kitchen area appear to be gone/dead -- with no more cockroach poop droppings. Hooray!!! Bad news: I just spotted a cockroach in my bathroom tub yesterday. I actually heard it flapping its wings when I turned on the light last night. OMG. Absolutely disgusting!!! The only thing I had nearby was a glass (see pic). It's still alive, as I'm afraid it will get away if I try to kill it. I only had one COMBAT bait station under the bathroom sink, but will buy some more so I can add one additional bait station in the bathrooms.
