I have a black tailbag on my motorcycle, made of some kind of canvas-like fabric, and it fades in the sun, turning gray. So I use this dye on it every 5 or 6 months to keep it black. Right or wrong, it works for me.

Exactly what I wanted for a still good pair of Red WingBlack oxfords that have shown signs of scuffing at the tie and heel. I washed the shoes thoroughly and let them dry over night. I applied the dye using the included attached dauber per instructions. I let the shoes sit over night and then waxed with Kiwi black shoe polish and buffed the. Works perfectly. I also purchased brown for my other shoes.
I use this to stain / keep the outside of my boot soles black and it works great for that

I'm not sure why I needed to select product fit as this is not a wearable product.....Paying attention AMAZON? ...I use this to stain / keep the outside of my boot soles black and it works great for that. I have never been a fan of liquid polish for anything other than that. But it works great on soles and I plan to continue to use it for that.

Amazing stuff! Restore a 15yr old (heavily used) Coach Tote to practically New as well as a 17 year old Andrew Marc leather coat which I had in my closet for the last 10yrs bc it was sentimental. May need more than 1 coach if very worn & Need to condition leather after applying dye but make cure leather dye is completely dry (wait at least 3 days before conditioning if you applied several coats of the dye) I am now going thru all my shoes to see what else I can restore! I'm thrilled....let just hope it lasts!

I used this dye to refurbish the edges and shoulder strap on my black Coach handbag. Worked great and the handbag looks like new. I made sure to clean the leather with the Coach cleaner, let it dry, then apply the dye on the faded areas. I let the dye dry and then used the Coach leather conditioner on the whole bag. Did an amazing job! Does not rub off.
