I have 3 of these, one for outside of our indoor garden tents (starting an indoor garden until we can move it outdoors in May if spring ever comes) and one in each tent. They are great for seeing our high and low temps as well as our high and low humidity readings. If you put all 3 of them next to each other the readings will be a little different. We also use one for our baby chickens to monitor with a camera their temp. So these are a five star product minus just a little for them showing slightly different readings.

It's great. We bought this along with a humidifier that has a monitor already to double test for accuracy, and to be able to test other parts of the house as well. Our house has either too much dry air or too much moisture depending on what room you are in or what season it is. The monitor is really helping us take control of the situation. The AcuRite is handy and affordable and we are quite happy with it. We have all the information we need at our fingertips. I like that the readings let you know what levels are ideal - otherwise - I wouldn't have really been sure! A nice added feature is that the back side has either a clip, a stand, or a magnet so you can pretty much place it wherever you need without it being in the way. We are happy with it and would recommend it.

works really well. The only issue I had was I put this on my fridge and over a couple months later the glue that was holding the magnet to the clip on the back started to separate, solved the problem with some hot glue. No issue since. Does what it advertises and is out of the way on the fridge where my wife is really picky about what is placed on the fridge.

**Update: The glue that holds the magnet strip to the clip as worn out and allowed the monitor to fall down, I used hot glue to affix it back but it just didn't hold fell again. I have it sitting now on my counter instead.

This is called an indoor humidity monitor, but I've taken it camping and it performed well. When it's just me and my horse, I usually just camp in the back of the horse trailer. The magnet allows me to mount this on the wall. I'm mostly interested in the temperature and this does an excellent job of monitoring temperature.

I have checked this device with the weather station monitors and have always had excellent agreement with the AcuRite monitor.

The size is convenient. The letters are large with good contrast making them easy to read. As mentioned, there is a magnet on the back allowing it to be hung on metal surfaces that are attracted to magnets. Most of the time this lives on the light at my workbench. There is also a kickstand on the back, although the shape is squared up enough that this will stand on its own on a reasonably level surface.

The range of humidity and temperature over a 24 hour period is displayed in smaller numbers. You get a lot in a small package. Mine has lasted for a few years now on the same battery.

I was looking for a simple indoor gauge to monitor humidity, because my nasal passages and eyes have been very dry recently and I am debating purchasing a humidifier. (I moved from Florida to Pennsylvania, and this is my first "real winter.") This little device was very easy to setup and works great! I didn't realize when I initially purchased it, but it not only tells you the current humidity level, but also the "high" and "low" reading for the last 24hrs. It provides this same information for the indoor temperature, as well, which is convenient because the only thermostat in the house we are renting is on the first floor, but we spend most of our time on the second floor (in other words, I use it to justify turning on my personal space heater when my boyfriend says it isn't "that cold" upstairs). :) Very useful little monitor!!
