It has a big display screen and beeps when the temperature is captured. Would have preferred if it was made in USA but settled for this.

This gives the result within the time it advertise it's perfect. And it is a must have!

I work as a veterinary nurse at an emergency clinic. We see tons of patients per day, each needs a rectal temperature to be taken. This thermometer reads it quickly (very important factor when dealing with aggressive dogs and cats...) and accurately. I have had it for several months and it still works well with no issues, even have dropped it and gotten it wet (but not submerged it) and it is fine.

My only complaint is that switching the sound off and on is not intuitive. I somehow keep changing the setting while the thermometer is in my pocket... so sometimes it beeps and sometimes it doesn't, but it always glows orange when it is done measuring the temp so I'm happy with it. I might order another for at home, human use.

Great thermometer I like that the tip is soft silicone

More accurate than the one I had bought in a store. However, even though it had the pull tab that I removed from the unit, the battery is nearly dead. I just received it today and am disappointed with the battery life.
