I bought on of these and kept it about two ...

I bought on of these and kept it about two weeks then sent it back for another thinking it must be defective. It had a loud hiss and was not covering the low end sounds. I was sent another and it is just the same.
and the provided double sided sticky tape is not that great adhesive. the pick up is really good

This is a contact microphone that sounds good in string instruments, exactly as expected. But you can not compare with others as akg condenser microphones c411pp. But for the price it is an excellent investment
