This sundial makes hanging out in the yard interesting - using the sun's position to tell the time over the day. It could use a better coating to prevent rust, so you may wish to paint it right away.

Absolutely gorgeous! I always wanted a sun dial and finally found the perfect one on amazon. Very heavy, easy to assemble...just two pieces. I look forward to having this for many years, and it comes with a history of sundials and how to place it in the right direction. P.S. The seller is really great too.

+ does not need to be wound
+ works when the power is off
- does not over overnight :)
- does not work on overcast/cloudy days :)
stop looking and just buy this sundial.
